Char Dham Yatra is a major pilgrimage for Hindus. The starting point of the yatra is Yamunotri located in Uttarkashi, from here the yatra is completed in a clockwise direction. After covering Yamunotri the Char Dham Yatra ends at Gangotri, Kedarnath and finally Badrinath.
Delhi is the main centre of India, from where pilgrims from other states start their Char Dham Yatra. Delhi to Char Dham Yatra Route Map covers Uttarakhand’s three major cities:- Dehradun, Rishikesh, and Haridwar. But If you want to cover only 1 Dham Starting from Delhi, below is the route you’ve to follow:-
Delhi → Rishikesh → Dehradun → Mussoorie → Lakhamandal → Naugaon → Barkot → Yamunotri

Delhi → Shahranpur → Vikasnagar → Yamuna Bridge → Nainbagh → Lakha Mandal → Naugaon → Barkot → Yamunotri
Delhi → Rishikesh → Narendra Nagar → Chamba → Chinyalisaur → Uttarkashi → Harshil → Dharali → Gangotri
Delhi → Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Tilwara → Agastyamuni → Kund → Guptkashi → Phata → Rampur → Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Jungle Chatti → BheemBali → Lincholi → Kedarnath
Delhi → Haridwar → Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Karnaprayag → Nandprayag → Chamoli → Joshimath → Badrinath
If you plan to visit the four Dhams starting in Haridwar, the suggested route is as follows:-
Haridwar → Dehradun → Barkot → Yamunotri → Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Guptkashi → Kedarnath → Joshimath → Badrinath → Rishikesh → Haridwar
Haridwar is the ideal starting point for Char Dham Yatra or Do Dham Yatra. The Char Dham Yatra route from Haridwar will take you to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The yatra route from Haridwar joins Dehradun via the Yamunotri-Gangotri Highway route and then Rudraprayag to the Kedarnath-Badrinath route, which passes through Devprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag.

Dehradun is the main point of the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, where you can start your journey. After registering for Char Dham Yatra in Dehradun, you can proceed to Yamunotri. Mussoorie, Lakh Mandal, Naugaon, Barkot, and Janki Chatti are also located on the way to Yamunotri Dham. You can also visit these places during your trip.
For the second Dham Gangotri, you will have to come back to Barkot, from where you can drive to Chinyalisaur. You must reach Gangotri to Uttarkashi, Gangnali, and Harsil from Chinyalisaur.
Kedarnath can be reached via Uttarkashi, Sem Mukhem Range, Ghansali, Guptkashi, and Gaurikund.
To go to Badrinath from Kedarnath, you come up to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi. You will have two options to reach Badrinath in Guptkashi. First, reach Badrinath via Chopta and Augustmuni, covering Rudraprayag, Gauchar, and Karanprayag. Only two options are correct. But you can choose the short-distance Chopta route and enjoy the Auli – Chopta trip. After Joshimath, the road leads directly to Badrinath, along which you can go to Badrinath.
